probably my most favorite part of the trip!
We explored The Petrified Forest (outside of Holbrook, AZ)
the park was just "littered" with all these petrified wooden pieces
magnificent desert landscape
natural petrified wood bridge formation
so many different minerals create these cool colors
is this another planet?
The Painted Desert of Navajo Country
breathtaking
we explored all this in the first half of the day... part 2 aka Sedona is next!
